The session was very interactive. The

road. This was a fun learning experience for children

Republic Day
Republic day was celebrated in the
Preprimary section with lot of enthusiasm. Children came

Nature is filled with a myriad of
colors and amazing beauty. Birds are a part of that

Kite Flying Day
Uttarayan is a very popular festival
which is celebrated with much gusto by the people of
Vadodara. Children enjoyed flying kites and followed it
up by making their own decorative kites and drawings.

Alphabet treasure hunt
Children had an ‘Alphabet Treasure
Hunt' game to reinforce the alphabets and to provide
them an opportunity to play the game. Teacher arranged
the class and hid the letters in such a way that only a
small portion of it was seen. Children were shown the
object and they had to identify and name the object.
Then they had to say the alphabet it starts with and
find out the hidden alphabet. Children successfully
found the hidden alphabets and enjoyed the game. It was
a great fun for them. The game was planned as their
part of learning, Children were able to play the game
and were able to recognize the ‘Alphabets’

Fishy fun
The activity was designed as part of
their theme. Children played fishy fun game which they
enjoyed a lot. and they had done coloring on the fish.

Save Tiger
Children loved watching this tale of
two cubs which was entertaining as well as helped raise
awareness about the plight of tigers in the world.

Pyjama party
Pyjama party was conducted to make the
children aware of ‘Night Time’. The classroom was
decorated with stars and moon and even the night scene
was created with mattress, bedsheet, blanket and pillow.
Good habits of brushing the teeth before going to bed
were inculcated in the kids. The children were enjoyed
seeing the picture in bed time. Teacher comb the hair of
each child like mother what she do at home. Each child
snuggled their favourite toy which we had got from home.
The light was switch off and classroom was darkened as
they gazed at the twinkling stars and shine moon. They
drifted off into peace sleep. The concept of night was
made interesting for the children by conducting pajama
party. Children came dressed in their favorite pajamas
and with their soft toy &a story book to read at night.
They enjoyed the party very much.

Busy Busy Spider Day
Children had "Busy Busy Spider Day" to
enhance their language, visual and listening skills. One
child came dressed up as a spider while the other
children came dressed as the characters in the story.
The day and date for the special day was mentioned in
the 'Information to the Parents'. Parents were also told
about the character in which their child has to come
dressed as. Teacher explained the story of the busy
spider. Children enacted the story and enjoyed it very
much.

Grade 2 Culminating Activity
The students of Grade 2 enacted the
process of Photosynthesis where a leaf uses water
,sunlight, carbon-di-oxide to prepare its food. They
also had a fashion show on seasons where in the students
came dressed in costumes related to different seasons.
The show ended with a round of quiz session for the
parents.

Grade 3 Culminating Activity
The students of Grade 3 took the
parents on an adventure tour with James and all the
gigantic creatures and showed them how team work helped
them save their lives. They also took us back to the
early pages of history where man was a hunter and
gatherer. He gradually invented the Fire, the Wheel and
then lived a settled life . We also got to peep into the
proceedings of a Gram Panchayat where the Sarpanch
tackles the problems related to the village.

The students of Grade 4 had their
culminating activity where the students played the role
of Mrs. Trunchbull and enacted the episode where she
makes Bogtotter eat the whole cake . The students

The Zoo is always a dream world in the
eyes of a kid. Children were very excited to visit the
zoo. They were delighted to see the lions and tigers.

Childrens Day was celebrated in a very
grand way. It was a day filled with entertainment for

The children were introduced to the
Karadi Tales with the help of Puppets. The main
objective of this interesting activity was to provide

The last day of the First Term before

It was a day packed with joyful singing

A Dalmatian dog is a very affectionate
and a loveable pet. The black polka dotted fur makes it
look so adorable. A child came to school dressed as a

art activity - Finger Printing based on the appearance
of a Dalmatian.

The Potato Party was a unique way of

Parsi New Year
New Year was celebrated with lot of
enthusiasm and fun on the 19-8-2011. Today children
learnt how the Parsis celebrate their New year ‘PATETE’.
The teacher explained to the children about the holy
fire and about the rites and rituals performed by the
Parsis on the New Year Day. They were told about the
special clothe they worn and delicacies prepared. A fire
was lit up depicting the holy fire, sandalwood was
burned and rangoli designs were made. A few children
were dressed up in traditional Parsi attire which made
the celebration very interesting and real.

Proud to be Indian
The students of Sr.Kg section extended
the Independence Day celebrations in a very unique and
interesting manner. They prepared lovely collage of the
pictures of some of our freedom fighters like – Mahatma
Gandhi, Sardar Patel and many more. Many of the children
were well prepared and spoke at length about their
favorite national leaders . A befitting tribute from our
young kids to our great patriots!!!!!

India Day
The Pre Primary Section celebrated
Independence day on 13th August 2011. Each class
conducted activities such as making the Indian Fag
Badge, Hand printing on the Map of India and drawing and
coloring National Animal – the Tiger, the National Bird
– the Peacock and the National Flower- Lotus. The
children carried out the activities with enthusiasm.
After the teachers talked to their respective classes
about the importance of ‘Independence Day', all the
children gathered outside for the Flag Hoisting Ceremony
and singing of the National Anthem, the National Song
and other patriotic songs.

On this special day, the class room was
arranged to have different corners with many objects of
various textures. The children had to touch the surface

The day began with a brief discussion
on the place of visit- Blind School. There the children
saw a visually impaired person playing tabla and
keyboard . They also witnessed the use of braille & the

As a part of their curriculum, a visit
to the ‘Eye Hospital’ was arranged for the children of
Jr. KG . The ophthalmologist present a very interesting
and informative Power Point presentation on the
different parts of an eye . Children were very excited
to see the same. They put forth a number of questions
related to eye care.They learnt many new things about
the eye and how to take care of the same . The trip was
meaningful and highly educative.

of some amazing facts about internal organs. A corner
was set up for each sense organ where children could
